IRISH AGRICULTURAL INTERNSHIPS
ABOUT US
WHAT WE DO
INVESTED IN YOUR FUTURE
-
Tailor made paid internships on Irish farms for periods between 6-36 weeks.
-
Interns can choose what type of farm they wish to work on (i.e. dairy, beef etc.) and IAI will find a suitable farm for the placement.
-
IAI representatives inspect each and every farm wishing to take part in the programme to ensure it is a safe and secure environment to receive an intern. Any farm that does not comply with the rules & regulations outlined by the Health and Safety Authority will not be permitted to take interns.
-
Host farms provide accommodation and meals for the intern, as well as a weekly stipend.
-
IAI provides interns with an introductory day prior to starting their internships. This will cover team building, manual handling, intercultural competency class, and a farm safety class.
-
IAI provide assistance in transport and liaising with the host farm.
-
Upon completion of the internship, you will be provided with a certificate of completion, manual handling and recommendation/reference from IAI.
